This new series is all about what you, the congregation, want to know about what the Bible say about... We collected suggested topics that the congregation wants to know about in the span of 2-3 weeks. We picked the top 14 and each week a member spins the wheel to choose the topic and another picks a card on who from the speaking team gets to deliver that message on the following week. This Sunday Pastor Nathan gets to share what the scripture says about Unity in the Body of Christ.
About that time King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church. He had the apostle James John’s brother killed with a sword. When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter.
This took place during the Passover celebration. The night before Peter was to be placed on trial, he was asleep, fastened with two chains between two soldiers. Others stood guard at the prison gate.
Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists.
Then the angel told him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” And he did. “Now put on your coat and follow me,” the angel ordered.
